Taking VisualEyes™ to the next level

The wireless VORTEQ™ IMU sensor is an add-on to VisualEyes™ that allows for accurate measurements of head position and head speed. Discover which tests and bundles you can add to your existing VisualEyes™ solution or purchase standalone.

Enhance your test battery with head position and head speed tests

Depending on your VORTEQ™ bundle of choice, you have the possibility to add head position and head speed tests to your test battery, giving you more diagnostic information on how to make your patients feel better with their dizziness.

Deliver faster and more efficient patient care

With the VORTEQ™ Assessments and Functional Assessments bundles, you gain access to the DVA, GST, and fvHIT™ functional VOR tests. The results from these tests provide an objective, data-driven starting point for vestibular therapy and the ability to monitor and adjust therapy to maximize progress.

To further your diagnostic capabilities, you can add the VORTEQ™ Diagnostics bundle to your VisualEyes™ 525 solution, allowing you to perform the Active Head Rotation (AHR) test and vHIT with your existing VNG goggle.

Introducing the fvHIT™

The innovative Functional Vision Head Impulse Test (fvHIT™) combines components of the Video Head Impulse Test (vHIT) and the Gaze Stabilization Test (GST) to allow you to accurately test the vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) across a range of high frequency head speeds in all semicircular canal planes. Using this information, you can provide more descriptive information for your patient’s rehabilitation plan to ensure they get better faster.
Amy Alexander, PT
I consider both VNG and fvHIT™ to be integral pieces of equipment for the comprehensive concussion clinics in Banner. I use fvHIT™ as part of my GST battery, where it has been a useful tool in identifying a deficit when GST testing is both athlete appropriate and adequately symmetrical.
