Interacoustics win innovator awards within electrophysiology and balance

08 October 2025

We’re proud to share that Interacoustics has been recognized in the 2025 Hearing Health & Technology Matters Innovator Awards, winning in both:

The Eclipse Aided Cortical module, powered by the ManU-IRU stimuli and Fmpi™ detector developed by the Interacoustics Research Unit (IRU), provides an objective way to validate hearing aid benefit in patients that cannot complete behavioral testing.

The VORTEQ™ Functional Assessments bundle enables clinicians to assess the vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) with precision, helping physical therapists tailor rehabilitation programs. It also includes the newly patented Functional Vision Head Impulse Test (fvHIT™).

These awards are a testament to our dedication to delivering life-changing hearing and balance health through research-based innovation and reflect our commitment to ‘Science made smarter’.

Charlotte Ellemose Sonne is a Master of Linguistics and Communication (cand.ling.merc.), having graduated from Aarhus University in 2004. Before joining Interacoustics, Charlotte's working experience included, among other, a seven year stay at DONG Energy (now Ørsted) as a Language Specialist.
