Welcome to the product training for AC40 audiometer. On this page you will find an overview of all the available training materials and support.
Synching test results to the PC through diagnostic suite can be completed in two ways.
But first, we must configure the software and hardware to allow for quick transfer.
Make sure the USB cable is connected to the audiometer and PC.
Once within Diagnostic Suite, select 'menu', 'setup', 'general settings' and uncheck the box located beside PC-controlled instrument.
This setup change is only required upon installing the software and does not need to be completed for each client.
For synching of results, the quickest and easiest way is by pressing the save session button at the completion of the test.
The results are transferred to the PC within a few seconds and can be saved and stored within the software.
To begin transferring the client data, enter the client into the preferred database.
This can either be Noah or OtoAccess.
Once you have entered the patient and opened Diagnostic Suite, complete the test on the audiometer in the normal, standalone operation.
Store each result to the audiometer at the end of the test.
Press the save session button on the audiometer.
This will transfer the test session to Diagnostic Suite.
Save and exit this session within the software by pressing the save and exit icon at the top of the Diagnostic Suite software screen.
A second way to transfer data is by first saving the client record in the audiometer and then transferring through the sync tab.
This can be useful when the audiometer is not connected to a PC.

You can sync client results with Noah or OtoAccess.
This video tutorial provides the steps to download within Noah, with a short instruction when OtoAccess is used at the end of this video.
First, launch Noah and select a stored client or enter a new client name.
Select the Diagnostic Suite icon from the manufacturer list.
When you enter the software, select the sync tab from the right side of the screen.
The software will pull up a client list that is stored on the audiometer.
The column on the right labeled 'status' will show 'match transfer' when the client name matches within Noah and the audiometer.
When this match transfer is listed, select the transfer to database icon to download the session into Noah.
The transfer will occur and the Diagnostic Suite status column will change to 'download complete'.
This download can be confirmed and reviewed by moving to the odd tab and selecting the save session date within the protocols and sessions box.
To download another client's result, return to Noah to select or enter the client name and follow the recommended steps.
Within Noah, each client is transferred and saved one client at a time.
When using OtoAcceess, the same steps are completed but you can import all clients saved on the audiometer.
Once any client record has been opened, you do not have to transfer the client results one by one.
