Hearing screening in school children

Identification and management of hearing loss in school age children is vital to language development and a child’s success in the classroom. OtoRead™ functions both in classrooms and in home environments. The easy-to-understand display clearly conveys the screening progress and results, and indicates what to do next.

Diagnostic testing across a wide range of frequencies

OtoRead™ is also suitable for an ENT or clinical audiological setting, testing across a wide range of frequencies. OtoRead™ offers the flexibility to conduct full diagnostic DPOAE assessments of up to 12 frequencies, up to 12 kHz – offering a greater amount of information to the integrity of your patients’ cochlear function. You can use the device to test ototoxicity, occupational hearing loss onset and functional hearing loss cases.

Print your results easily

OtoRead™ allows you to print test results in a quick and easy fashion. As an option, you can equip OtoRead™ with a small and wireless thermal printer. The test data is easy to read and will give a Pass or Refer result for each ear.

Easy transfer of test results

With OtoRead™, you can transfer data to the OtoRead™ PC Module via Bluetooth. For screening configurations, you can also store data in OtoAccess® Database via the HearSIM™ PC Module. The software and database options for OtoRead™ are all compatible with both Oz and HiTrack, allowing fast and easy export (xml and csv) of OtoRead™ results once your test is complete.

Pre-defined or user-defined test protocols

As a complement to your full audiometric test battery, you can use OtoRead™ with either pre-defined or user-defined testing protocols.

Store up to 500 test results

With an internal storage of up to 500 tests, you do not need to worry that your OtoRead™ will run out of storage space.
