Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD) Unpacked: A Modern Approach to Chronic Dizziness

Introductory
1 - 2 hours
Course
23 October 2025

Description

In this course we join Dr Diego Kaski and Dr David Herdman in a discussion of Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD). PPPD is a common but often misunderstood condition which presents significant challenges to clinicians who assess, diagnose and rehabilitate patients presenting with symptoms of dizziness and imbalance.

Dr Kaski and Dr Herdman will provide detailed insights into the latest guidance, research and recommendations; combined with their own hands-on experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating patients with PPPD.

From this eWorkshop, you will draw a deeper understanding of PPPD, co-morbidities and susceptibility amongst different populations to inform your clinical approach to assessment of the dizzy patient.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe the clinical presentation and features and characteristics of Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD).
  • Discuss the process of diagnosing Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD).
