The Interacoustics Academy is delighted to invite you to this 10-lesson, online course on Real Ear Measurements, designed to help you make the most out of performing them for your hearing aid fittings.
It tackles the commonly encountered questions which clinicians have regarding the technique and takes a practical approach to overcoming challenges and understanding the clinical / technical aspects of these important measurements.

Learning objectives
- Apply best practice preparation principles to establish the foundations for accurate, reliable and clinically meaningful Real Ear Measurements.
- Demonstrate effective Real Ear Measurement techniques to optimize measurement quality and achieve accurate hearing aid verification.
- Evaluate Real Ear Measurement findings to optimize hearing aid fittings and achieve appropriate audibility, target matching, and output for the individual patient.
- Apply advanced REM techniques and features, including Automated REM and Visible Speech Mapping, to enhance verification efficiency and support patient-centered outcomes.
Practical info
Once you have signed up to the course, you will receive access to the first lesson immediately. Starting September 7, you will receive access to the next lesson every week, and all the content will be available until the end of November 2026.
