A versatile device offering auditory evoked potentials (AEP), auditory steady state response (ASSR), vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (VEMP) and otoacoustic emissions (OAE). Designed to fit seamlessly into your workflow and offers complete reliability and perfect results.
Whatever your challenge may be, the Eclipse hardware platform enables you to focus on the job at hand. The device has dedicated software modules for all facets of auditory evoked potentials and otoacoustic emissions.
IA OAE Suite
The IA OAE Suite software comes with either DPOAE, TEOAE or both and offers numerous features for comprehensive clinical OAE testing.
An intuitive and user-friendly interface.
Probe check indicator.
Split screen for binaural view.
Test summary table.
Historic overlay for ototoxicity monitoring.
Prolong tests and add more sweeps.
Protocol settings for automatic display of pass/refer results for hearing screening.
Weighted averaging improving data quality and limiting the test time.
DPOAE - Distortion product otoacoustic emissions
The DPOAE module produces detailed DP grams with protocols designed by the user for their requirements. You can be confident of your OAE measurements with the included DPOAE reliability criteria, and you have the possibility to test up to 32 DP points. Frequency range 500-10000 Hz.
TEOAE - Transient evoked otoacoustic emissions
The TEOAE module uses non-linear broad band clicks to evoke otoacoustic emissions. The extensive range of clinical options provide a full clinical measurement of TEOAEs. Frequency range 500-5500 Hz.
ABRIS module
Returns a simple pass/refer result, requires minimal tester training and is automatic and objective. ABRIS specificity (the ability to correctly exclude normal hearing babies) is as high as 99.7% in large scale clinical trials using two stage screening. ABRIS sensitivity (the ability to correctly identify babies with hearing problems) is 99.99%.
ASSR module
The Interacoustics ASSR system reduces test times by 50% thanks to narrow band CE-Chirp® stimuli and automated dual response detection methods.
Estimate thresholds by testing both ears and eight frequencies at the same time in less than 20-30 minutes.
With the click of a mouse, you can select the recording you want to export in its averaged state, as presented on the screen. This will save an XML file on your hard drive. You can view the XML file in Microsoft® Excel, MATLAB® or similar analysis software.
The export waveform/session function is available on saved recordings that are created on an Eclipse with the Research Module license, even when viewed on another PC. This gives the ability to collect data in one location and analyze in another without the need for a connection to the Eclipse.
Import WAV files
The Research Module allows you to import WAV files (including speech stimuli), which you can use as stimuli in evoked potential testing.
Add a customized speech sound.
The speech stimuli, Da, Ba and Ga are also included.
You can calibrate custom WAV file stimuli and specify a peRETSPL - nHL correction value, as with traditional stimuli.
Combine two different WAV files to create an alternating polarity stimulus.
You can specify a WAV file as a continuous stimulus and use it as masking noise.
Data logging
The data logging function allows you to save (log) all sweeps, meaning you can 'replay' the entire recording in analysis software such as Microsoft® Excel or MATLAB®. From here, you can modify many test parameters (e.g. change the filtering or apply weighted averaging in a replay of all the sweeps) and reassess the resulting waveform.
You can apply data logging to both custom research protocols and the standard default protocols. The logged sweeps are saved in three text files on the hard-drive.

„The Eclipse has the largest number of clinically-relevant features of any auditory evoked potential (AEP) device today. The platform is an excellent blend of parameter flexibility and user-friendliness.“
1. The CE-Chirp® stimulus family was developed following many years of extensive human studies by numerous researchers including Claus Elberling, the researcher who the CE-Chirp® has been named in honor of.
2. The Research Module license provides a new dimension in the investigation of auditory evoked potential (AEP) recordings. Easily added to your existing EP25 software (from version 4.4) with a new license key.
3. For countries where the IA OAE Suite has not been registered with the authorities, the previous OAE software will still be available.
OAE made clinical
Otoacoustic emissions (OAEs) are not just an essential tool in newborn hearing screening, but also in clinical audiology. Clinical OAE gives you the option to perform a comprehensive assessment of the inner ear and the cochlea.
