Practical, hands-on experience with vestibular disorders

Helping the University of Canterbury provide students with solid hands-on experience to diagnose vestibular disorders - or dizziness and balance problems - is behind one of the latest Oticon Foundation grants.

Audiology students are now benefiting from the use of an Interacoustics Videooculography System in the university's Vestibular Disorders Clinic.

Monothermal Warm Caloric Screening Test

In some test situations, caloric responses may be available only for one temperature; either by design or by necessity:

VNG Goggle Conversion kit

The 2007 redesign of our VNG goggles introduced disposable foam pads. Held by Velcro, the foam pads are easy to replace and give greater stability to the goggles. They also ensure total light occlusion and improve patient comfort.

VNG software is now Windows 7 compatible

Interacoustics has released its VNG Version 7.04 software. In addition to Windows 7 compatibility, data processing has been optimized for a smoother user experience, the brightness of each camera is now individually adjustable through the software, and several features have been added to integrate the Nydiag 200 Rotary Chair functionality with the VNG software, just to mention a few of the changes.
