Denmark, January, 2013 – Interacoustics’ new Electronystagmography (ENG) option, the EN415/EO425, offers you maximum flexibility when it comes to vestibular testing.  While most patients can be easily tested with Interacoustics’ VN415 or VO425 VNG goggles, certain conditions will require the use of ENG.  Using electrodes that connect to the EN415/EO425 preamplifier through the computer’s USB port, you are able to conduct the relevant tests using the same software you use with your Interacoustics VNG system.  If you have a VN415, the same test battery will be available with EN415, and if you have a VO425, the same test battery will be available with EO425.

Furthermore, Interacoustics new Digital Light Bar (DLB) is now available as an alternative to the LCD projector or large screen TV to display visual stimuli to the patient.  The DLB is small and comes standard with a tripod for maximum portability.

Interacoustics’ latest software release (V. 1.1) for the VF405 Video Frenzel system has a series of new features, enhancing the user experience. The software is fully Windows® 7 compatible and has camera speeds of up to 105 Hz with automatic camera brightness adjustment.

VF405 is available in Basic and Extended versions. Both versions are operated through the OtoAccess™ patient database, and they are also both upgradable to Interacoustics’ VN415 or VO425 systems for vestibular and oculomotor analysis. VF405 uses the same cutting edge combi goggle as the Interacoustics VNG systems.
