Interacoustics A/S is part of the William Demant Group. This group of international companies develops, manufactures and markets a wide variety of technological solutions, ranging from state-of-the art digital hearing instruments and assistive listening devices to revolutionary new diagnostic systems. These solutions combine micro-electronics, micro-mechanics, wireless technology, software and acoustics and are sold to professional customers in a global market place.

The Group is divided into three business areas:
Hearing aids -which comprises two separate companies - Oticon and Bernafon.
Diagnostic instruments - which consists of Maico Diagnostics and Interacoustics, and finally
Personal communication - which concists of Phonic Ear and Sennheiser Communications.
