By Air to Copenhagen: You can fly to Copenhagen International Airport (Kastrup). From Copenhagen you can go by train to Odense or by car to Assens.
By Car from Copenhagen/Zealand: You take the E20 and cross the bridge from Zealand to Funen and continue on the E20. Leave the highway at exit 52 in Odense and turn left (west) towards Assens. Now simply follow the signs to Assens (straight ahead).
The distance from Copenhagen to Assens is approx. 200 km / 2 hours and 15 minutes. Please note that you will have to pay bridge toll (ca. 255 DKK each way). All international credit cards are accepted.
By Train from Copenhagen/Kastrup Airport: You can take the InterCity train directly from the airport to Odense (1hour 50 minutes). The InterCity train departs the airport every hour. Please notice that the railway station at the airport is called Kastrup Lufthavn. Of course you can also take the InterCity train from Central station if you are already in Copenhagen.

If you are travelling from the airport, you should search for Kastrup Lufthavn. If you are travelling from Copenhagen central station, you should search for Kobenhavn H. You can also type in the address of your hotel.
From Odense to Assens (approx. 40 km) you will have to go by bus, taxi or private car. If you go by private car please follow the signs to Assens 168. |
