Overview

Learners will be able to acquire knowledge to identify reported symptoms and features of Vestibular migraine (VM) when talking a patient’s clinical history. Dr Kaski will present and critically analyse both published data from the field of neurology and neurophysiology to increase understand of the mechanisms related to vestibular migraine and share his own clinical experience on treatment approaches to help patients manage their symptoms of VM.

  • Evaluate the present understanding of VM pathophysiology
  • Discuss current treatment approaches of VM
Speaker:
Professor Diego Kaski
Dr Diego Kaski is a consultant neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, honorary associate professor at University College London. His special clinical interests are the diagnosis and treatment of dizziness, balance and eye movement disorders. He runs vestibular neurology clinics at the Royal National ENT & Eastman Dental Hospitals and an acute vertigo clinic at UCLH.
